U. S. Transplant Games
July 11-16, 2008
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The U.S. Transplant Games is a special event organized and sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation to give transplant recipients, living donors and donor family members a chance to come together to celebrate the gift of life and the miracle of transplantation. The Games are held every other year in different locations throughout the United States.
Kidney, heart, lung, liver, pancreas and bone marrow recipients of ALL ages come together to celebrate their gift of life. Recipients may choose to participate competitively or casually in one or more sports offered during the Games.
Living donors and donor family members of deceased donors have the opportunity to meet others who have shared similar experiences. During the Games, they are also honored at special ceremonies for their gifts.
If you are a recipient, Team Utah / Idaho needs you. For further information, contact us at 800-869-5277.
